If this is what you mean, this makes no sense. That's what I'm saying: he is either increadibly bold (thinking this strategy would go anywhere) or dumb as a rock.

If this is really his play I will recommend anyone who doesn't vote to lynch padib on Day 4 to allow this scenario never ever play mafia again. There is no way padib would make it to Night 4 if wright is lynched and is not the nuker. No one in their right mind should even consider placing a vote on wright unless they by that also is an unbreakable vow to lynch padib if wright was not the nuke.

If padib is running a gambit here, I see no other option than it is to lie down on the sword to keep the real nuke alive. (Which would likely be Spurge in that case)

Have you been reading what he's posting?

while I agree it's a stretch (though mainly because of the scan from wright), I still don't like him and want him dead at some point.
However, spurge makes more sense to lynch today.

You know if wright hadn't scanned him, I probably would've just killed him today. Wright's claim was really the only thing keeping him alive.

I just like waving it around at people.

Really though, it's not much different than a lynch. Honestly I don't want to use it, I'm just saying that I'm required to kill and end the day if I claim.

The conundrum is there, if we believe Wright, padib is not the nuke. The only reasonable explanation (well, the MOST reasonable I shoudl say) of his play would be that he is setting up Spurge to let the nuke go off and that somehow counts as a win for him. Nuke could be Wonk too ofcourse, (or I guess me for the people with less access to my PM than myself) but Spurge flipped a lid when people started questioning the surefire scan and giftwrapped nuke padib delivered us and claims to have superinformation that we just need to trust and then he'll claim tomorrow when it's perhaps too late. 

Also of note is that both padib and spurge seems to have left since the whole thread meltdown. Perhaps they have set their play, and now want to see it play out from their quicktopic?

To your other post out there, I know you love to take shots at padib, but he is not stupid and would not attempt this play if he was a lone bomber.
