My ability surpasses invisibility.
My slap cancels the targets invisibility and I'm informed of it.
I immediately assumed he was a commuter, but my first guess was zerg lurker.

Alright, fine.
I think Eric is a distraction as well, though. His play suggests scum, not nuke. You, or Wright, are the nuke. I wasn't really pleased with your prof vote just now (i know it's tempting as a villain to try to cast blame on him. He's easy to blame. It's right out of my playbook for how i lucked my way through the last game to a full-team scum win)
In my mind, the only thing you have going right now is that your flavor post fits my narrative of one scum faction, one single perpetrator as a rogue night actor.
So i'm going to Vote: Wright and see what happens.
I agree that EricFabian is likely a good lynch target, but not today. We need to save all of us from annihilation first (and it could well be in scum's interest to join us in that, i'm not sure what their win condition is in that regard. It seems too unbalanced that they could win if we merely fail to catch the nuker).

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
I'll admit i paid much more attention to his style of play last round than yours. All i know is that he's playing just as he was before, when he was town, and that he's contributed to both scum lynches thus far, and i'm not keen on the multi-faction theory despite the flavor suggesting it.
Eric is playing like Astrogamer and Sparks. Low-volume, generally contentless. These have been the scum signs so far this game, he definitely fits the profile. He also voted Nicklesbe Day One.
Wright, meanwhile, hasn't voted for anyone, and has generally just kind of floated around.

What about Eric's play makes you lean more scum than nuker? My prof vote just now is not to cast blame on him as a villain. He claimed a role that was counter-claimed by Wright. When asked to provide a name to back up his claim, he refused to indulge under the pretext of "I need a challenge". I think you just didn't fully understand that part. If you remember, I went through a lot of time to explain my character today to Trucks, Carl and many others. Yet suddenly everyone seems to miss that prof just got counter-claimed. I am starting to get the feeling that people are doing it just because he's prof. Why do people often judge post by the poster's "status" rather than their actual words, it defeats me. |
Do you also have a problem with white's claim ebing the same as khans? How about tos being a duplicate role with radish?
If we think about this objectively, there should be no reason to suspect my role shouldn't exist with two other pairs out there. My role is also different from wright's as his is for cloaking and mine is for personal stealth items. Presumably, he can find templars and I cannot.

Let's play a little game. Why do you think people have chosen to trust me over time?

which actually matches his play from last game as well.
Also, he tried counterclaiming the pm conditions, which would've been a bad move for scum.
AND he tried counterclaiming me.
I'd say wright is pretty assuredly town.

Wonk
WEPL -claimed shield marine
Spurge
Radish
Khan
Imp
Eric
Regarding these players and conclusions, I'm not comfortable removing any from the possibilities pile for nuker for the stim-pack test or the shield claims.
Wonk is possible scum on protoss side I'd say, given his attitude toward astro and sparks, but really could be anything.
WEPL I'm not sure. Claimed high armor. meh
Spurge could be a nuke. His activity is moderate and some of the things he says make no sense. He's also attacking me, so to me that's a no-no.
Radish I'm pretty confident is a power role somehow, but not sure of anything past that. He could possibly be a nuke.
Khan is a possibility. He claimed a role that was already claimed, which is something his team did last game to good success. Possible nuke
Imp has been pretty active, but can't say he's not nuke.
Eric hasn't really participated much. He's a possibility.
Just as gut feelings go:
Wonk- protoss scum
Radish- town power role
Imp- town
WEPL- town shield marine
Eric- good potential for nuke
Spurge- good potential for nuke

I don't have a problem with Radish's because he passed an important test. For that same reason, I don't have a problem with Khan's. I have a problem with yours for four reasons: A) You lied about the name in order to not sound Zerg-like. B) You were unclear about your role (scans cloaks, uhh items items!) C) The role name sounded like an alien flavor of Wright's role and D) You refused to collaborate with 3 posters who asked for your to back your claim with a name (Wright, Impertinence and then myself).
So do you understand now? Or is this again difficult like your last logical challenge with Roles that were skills and Roles that were stat upgrades? |
A) I lied because for town-reasons I have no intention of giving mafia a reason to bandwagon me with poor arguments like "slap sounds like something a zerg does". You also only know that I lied because i friggin told you I did. Nobody doubted my smack down claim except that it wasn't an ability in sc. Slap isn't an ability in sc either. I decided MYSELF to clarify what the move was called
B) Mmm I clarified everytime without ever the press from anyone. Like above, it is one thing to be pressed into saying something different, another to come forward oneself and clarify things.
C) Predictable response. I can read your mind. That's why I changed the name.
D) Wright: Still a noob. Don't really care if he suspects me, he'll come around sooner or later. Impertinence? I mean, sure he wants an answer, but I'm still not sure he's town so I'm not bothered by it. And You? I don't need to repeat that you're a third party who I think wins no matter who loses so long as you're alive. If town gets nuked, you stay alive. You probably win even if town loses.
E) ...except impertinence actually agreed with me that he left out assumptions that he made (that modifier roles are not power roles) but he hasn't answered about how commuter fits. Commuter is not a stat upgrade, or a modifier. It's a legitimate role. This is only as difficult as your faculties provide.

A) you lied about your role last game.
B) you obfuscated hoe your ability works last game
C) why does mine sound alien and Wright's sound terrain?
Because he claimed scientist? Ok sure thing whatever.
D) nickles will attest that I was on his trail and I should've pushed harder. He admits that your interfering helped him survive. I dont need to answer questions I dont find helpful to town. Especially not ones that I think are being asked by scum. Cool you win even if town dies. Ok. What is your motivation then for helping town? You should be obfuscating to the point where the Nike goes off.
E) Imp said it was logical to say that I had a name. I countered that it wasn't logical because we have roles with and without names therefore logic dictates some have names and some do not, and unless he had a reason to believe otherwise with a theory, then it wouldn't be logical to assume his point was valid. He agreed and said I was right because he had a theory that modifiers werent named. I countered that commuter is not a modifier.
it's so bloody simple.

God I wish the two of you would stop. This is another part of why I hate people bringing up previous games.
