Forums - Microsoft - Is Minecraft Worth 20 Dollars?

For that price I'd recommend it.

If you like the idea of exploring, collecting, and building a fortress or anything else, you could spend dozens or hundreds of hours on it, which is far more than nearly all $60 games.

It's potentially very much worth it, but you could end up not liking it (just like every other game with tons of potential gameplay time).

The PC version has more potential though. Mods, infinite worlds, newest version updates, mouse controls, etc.

I dont have a gaming pc i would have to get it on xbox one. From what i have seen you can make the world as big as you want!

Not when it was 15 for 2 copies before.
So it is basically worth 7.5 per person at max!

Console versions dont have all features tho and cannot have community support like the PC version can.  TBH for me its as useless as the iOS version.

Yes, it is. Awesome game, can't believe you haven't tried it yet.

They are really big enough on Xbox one or you must be one of those people who want to built his whole town and is ready to invest months in the game doing it;.

I bought it on 360 for twenty. I plan to buy it on PS4 for twenty for online multiplayer and bigger worlds. Has to be one of the most creative games ever made.

Downloading it now hope i like it!

I got my copy of it for $8 :)

but $20 is fair but I will warn you, it can get very boring very fast if you don't have people to play with. Also, the consoles versions are complete garbage, so far behind compared to the PC and plus you don't get a bunch of micro transactions like you do. Plus the mods are just so much better. Not trying to sound like a PC Master race guy but it just doesn't compare at all.

The pc version is the way to go. I was hooked for a couple of months then never felt like touching it again. Still, well worth a try.
