Here are some statistics that I calculated based on the responses of VGChartz members in the recent thread about how many girlfriends members have had.

Average Number of Girlfriends: 3.04 (mean average)

Median: 2.5

Standard Deviation: 2.94

Number of Members who have never had a Girlfriend: 20%

Sample Size: 54

 I was pretty surprised, I thought the the numbers would be lower since we are all gamers. Although there are many members who are in their 30s who have had  much more time.

Comments:

 I know these statistics are probably biased because members can lie about the number of girlfriends they have had and also members who have had less girlfriends are probably less likely to respond if they are embarassed about it.

If madkiller is excluded (because he is an extreme outlier with 15 girlfriends) the mean falls to 2.8 and the standard deviation falls to 2.47.

 The reason I did this is because I am having diffaculty falling asleep and I am really bored.

Like I said in the other thread, girlfriends are for chumps. I proposed to a girl I wasn't even dating. We went from single to engaged in 60 seconds. SHAZAM.

Do one night stands count?

Do booty calls count?

Do random people at gathering that end up under "multipartners" count?

Does a spouse/boyfriend watching count?

Does being a "pet" count?

Does having "pets" count?

Do longterm GFE's count?

Do female members' boyfriends count?

Does it count if you were getting paid to go on a date or have sex with a person?

Too many variables to mean anything significant.

What I want to see is some graphs showing cumulative, weekly and launches aligned options!

 Yes there are many variables that must be accounted for, this is just meant for fun facts about our community. I said in OP that this is not perfect data.
