i wouldnt say sony pushed it for MS, but maybe they made less effort to keep it on PS4 due uncharted 4.

Makes no sense. And if it was a release date thing Crystal Dynamic could always change theyre launch date like Batman x Superman movie did so that it wont release the same day as Captain America 3.

If this was early PS3 lifecycle, ye Tomb raider would be bigger than Uncharted. Now its not even a competition Uncharted is much bigger, more respected and overall considered to have far greater quality. It also has way more condecorations than Tomb Raider.
I think Sony just didn't pay what Microsoft was willing to pay.
