I've lived in California most of my life and by now I've mastered the ability to sleep through 7.0's. Once I met an east coaster who was deathly afraid of quakes, but had slept through dozens of tornadoes and hurricanes. Silly humans can adapt to anything.
You sure you guys don't use some sort of metric Richter Scale?
Oh i didn't felt it.
But i am in Brazil =), oh boy the slightest of the earthquakes would make those old buildings on Rio to fall like domino pieces

I just realized that the vast majority of towns in new england are named for towns in England. I knew some were, I just didn't realize it was pretty much all of them. How creative of those who founded them.

According to the first source on google news it was a 5.2... and there have been a few bits of chimney masonry collapsing and roof tiles falling off. It was apparently felt all the way up to the Scottish border.
1 19yo guy was injured when something fell from the roof through the attic/loft and hit his leg.
I had just logged here off here when I heard it (thinking my ears were ringing) then I felt it.
I thought it was about a 5 at the time.. even though I have never felt one before.
I am in a town that is in between Huddersfield and Leeds btw.

Well I live in Birmingham UK and I have experienced 3 earth tremmors in my life here.
