Because a Kinectless $399 XB1 looks crap compared to a $399 kinect bundle with Titanfall. It's like a step backwards almost, should have been $350 (part of me thinks it will be this holiday).

This is a myth. Didn't get it in 2012 and didn't get it in 2013 either. The Wii and DS got big boosts during the holiday, but they were huge in the year too.

Pit sales for WiiU vs XB1 in the countries they sell in, and WiiU isn't selling better than XB1.

You do see the word "typically" in that sentence, yes?

And country for coutnry is not what this thread is about.   Don't change the goal posts to fit your argument.  

It doesn't 'typically' get a holiday boost tho. Wii and DS holiday numbes (which were huge) were compareable ratio wise to their non holiday sales. Since then we've seen poor holiday numbers from Nintendo, so why bring it up like it's a thing? Do I need to remind you last of last Nov figures.

I'm not changing goalposts I'm using the data I have at my disposal.

It is very unlikely that the Xbox One outsells the WiiU by the end of the year. It just isn't selling well enough and the WiiU has picked up the pace. If you keep going on like this you're going to have a tough year.

Seece the xbox one is only selling like that because of america look at the european numbers 12k for europe(over 50% of that from the uk itself)its selling less than the stinking wii u there(dont give me the xbox one hasnt release in 13 countries excuse(why would they release it there so late then because of low sales there) and in US its selling above 30k thats over half its sales its selling less than 20k outside the US(compared to 29k for wii u)

This site uses estimates not solid numbers, so I take them with a grain of salt, just personal preference. Look at 3DS, been massively overtracked for ages.

Yeah lets compare WiiU Japan numbers to XB1's ... oh wait. I use US becaused we get NPD numbers. We don't have an alternative for Europe unfortnately, otherwise I would happily use it.

We actually do have numbers but you refuse to use them.  That's your perogative but not having any numbers to back up your claims leaves you at a severe disadvantage when debating global sales.

By the end of the year? That's a lock. By end of September the gap will be almost down to nothing shipment wise, and I can't see WiiU shipping more during the holidays than XB1.

and yet its still beating the vita(a great console like xbox one and wii u)

the vita was proclaimed by all the media as the first handheld to dethrone nintendo's(which it backfired hugely)

plus you got stinking smartphone that are running the handheld buisness in the ground

1.6m across Nov and Dec isn't that good in a second holiday IMO. A console should average about 5/6m a holiday (something neither XB1 or WiiU will do this holiday.)

shipment doesnt mean sold and in response to 1.6 million it only sold less than 300k every 2 months :P heck it even was able to outsell the ps4 its second week(which were do to shortages of a huge first week but you get the memo)
