Forums - Sony - New Little Big Planet Screens, good stuff.

i was never really intrested in this game until i saw what people where doing with the forge on halo 3 like grifball and bungie500 and that made me really interested in the idea of user-created content and the youtube of gaming. I really wish this game could get some more appeal and hype. This game in my opinion is the most original and revolutionary in its concept this generation

Around the Network

My excitement level for this game dropped sharply after seeing the price tag at Gamestop: $59

I'm still looking forward to it, but whether or not I'll buy it on day one will depend on how close its release date falls to other "must-buys."

These Sackboys ,or what ever the hell they call them ,are gonna be a HUGE success. I mean c'mon look at those things they're so freakin badass. I've seen a great variety of different sackboys so I'm expecting awsome customization options not only for levels but these guys as well.

so is the whole point of this to build dioramas? The game looks graphically great, but, I guess I don't get the game itself...

You create 2D side scrolling platformer levels (the game comes with a bunch of premade ones, though).

You can then upload your level for others to try.  They can rate the level you created.

You can also play four-player co-op online or in-home on these levels.

The physics and graphics coupled with the range of customization (seemingly limitless) make the replay value infinite.

Now that I've typed this out, the $59 price point doesn't seem as bad :)
