Why the lack of hype for the next Assassins Creed?

This game, graphically, looks much better than the previous Assassins Creed games. Hopefully it does not get downgraded. Hundreds of characters on screen and 4 player co-op.

It seems like there are less loading screens, if any, which is great for an open world game. This game has had more time of development than any other game in the series. This game is not coming for last gen consoles, only current gen. This game will be top notch and sales/word of mouth will show it. Im guessing 4 million first week, 10 million lifetime. Whos with me? This is my most wanted game so far this year

because when a game has been coming out yearly for over 4 years, people stop caring.

Pokemon? Call of Duty?

I was talking about regards to hype. And call of duty has been slowly dying since modern warfare 3.

Around the Network

There should be more hype. Probably because people don't know that Unity marks the very first overhaul of the climbing system.

Gonna be great cutting some french bitches climbing all the nice buildings :)

actually 7 years.... AC1 came out in 2007 (same year as COD4:MW, not to mention Halo 3 that Sep)   (2 generation defining franchises began within a week or 2 of each other)

End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)

Wii- 72 million   3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases

360- 37 million   Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak

PS3- 29 million  Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut

It didn't become a yearly instalment though until assassin's creed brotherhood.
