... what current games I should get my brother... My brother and I share a Wii (which was given to me for my b-day last year by my mom, who I currently live with; like I said on my page, I suck) and I believe my brother is ripe as a gamer for more challenging games that are just outside the core... What would you guys suggest?

Hm... Elebits is like an FPS for casual gamers. You get to walk around a house grabbing stuff with a (gravity?) gun and throw things around.

Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles also might work, the story, atmosphere and difficulty are all fairly in depth videogame fare, but the on rails shooting makes it more accessible.

Oh yeah. Zack & Wiki is the perfect game for anyone regardless of age, sex or gamer status.

And if you respond with "well I didn't like Zack & Wiki"... well that's a one day ban.

@ stof: I've never even played "Zack & Wiki", how can I diss it like that if I haven't even played it?

But, if it's all the same to you, I'll try to get my brother "Elebits"...

Or do you have any other suggestions? Elebits seems a little too complex on paper for my brother...

If you want something to play with him, Ghost Squad is only $30 and incredibly fun in co-op mode. So is RE:UC, for that matter. Both are basically, "point at the screen, shoot at stuff," so they shouldn't be too hard.

Also, do you have Super Mario Galaxy yet? For co-op, you could control Mario while he plays as the second player.

@ stof: He's actually older than me, but he's a little slow on the uptake and I'm worried he might not be able to keep up...

@ Garcian Smith: Yes, I already have SMG... I'm just worried he might get jealous about having to be player 2 and essentially "ride in the bitch seat"...

Well, Mario is a tradtional crossover game for casuals to core, then the next step is Zelda!

What is he good at / enjoy doing? (can be outside of video games....)

Have you considered rythm games like DDR or GH III? You can even get a second pad and (soon) a second guitar...
