Forums - Gaming - History repeating: Xbox One is following PS3′s rocky first year

M$ is not Sony.

Sony has very good studios for exclusives, not M$.
PS3 launched 1 or 1,5 year later at 600€, not one.
Then PS3 reach and beat x360 (probably + 3millions now in the real life not in undertracked vgc numbers.

One will never be back. look at preorders for MCC, at 16 weeks of launch, it is the half titanfail preorders.

Sony has ruled, is ruling and will rule on one and the 8th generation.

Or it might be it is actually following the steps of, you know, the N64 or the GameCube. Have you thought about that one? It's not like hardware revenue is particularly important to MS as it is to Sony or Nintendo...

Yeah, I think if there is a history repetition here it is that of the original Xbox or the Gamecube. With this logic any console which struggles in the market will pull a PS3.

Problem is xbox one just turned into PS3.8. It shares its most important exclusive with the PC and MS made everything it could to confuse potential customers with the whole kinect affaire. It's obvious they have no idea what they're doing, and it's obvious that their vision of a videogame console is not the same as most gamers'.
