Why not drop the game and sell the 80G for $399?
I'll buy PS3 for sure for that price.
I never got into MGS series so. . . .

This might sound a little negative but this here bundle sounds a little to good to be true. For $499 you get the 80GB package except a different game and better controller which is a better deal I might add. Something within this bundle will be taken out/changed. Sony has 4 WHOLE MONTHS to do so.

What could go wrong...lol

- Get delayed to a later date

- The bundle could be changed to the 40 GB instead of 80GB SKU for $399. (Might not be such a bad thing when you think about it.)

- Might receive a price increase for adding in too much stuff.  (Maybe they'll add that rumored 120GB that everyone's been talking about, increasing said price to well over the $500 price range.  Mainly $599.)

- Since the 80GB is getting phased out anyways, this bundle might be for a LIMITED TIME OFFER (which I'm sure that this is what this whole deal is all about...at least till the next bundle comes out)

- And finally, Like I said in the beginning, Sony could remove feature/take something out of 80GB to offset the cost of losing some profit from the game and adding this DS3. (Losing complete BC support or something else.)


I'll say it again, the deal is pretty good for those who wants to/hasn't yet adopted to picking up a PS3. Shoot, you can probably pick it up if you already have a PS3 and just want the game/DS3. Not good for the casuals though as they probably won't know too much about the game, but then again they can get the $399 version, right?

Did I say it's a bad thing? It's just surprising.

PS: Did you say limited bundle? I was under the impression this was a normal bundle.
