Ratchet and clank are coming out in 2016 too right? I think SotC would be a awesome video game movie, anyone agree?
MGS (with a streamlined story obviously), Uncharted, Heavy Rain, and Assassin's Creed would all make great movies because they would be relatively easy to convert. They're all very cinematic so you could do a lot of the fan's favorite set-pieces in live action and have your major moments. They all would require little CGI and look good with some good costume and set guys because they all involve human characters with relatively normal abilities. Last of all they all have great stories that can fill a 2-3 hour movie without stretching and even sequels.
Assassin's Creed could be Ezio or Altair's story.
MGS could definitely work in the same order they were released with maybe skipping 2 or streamlining it. MGS3 would still come after one I think because then you could build up Big Boss as a legend and then in the trailer for 3 a prequel would be awesome looking. MGS3 (whichever movie was based on it) could be the Dark Knight of video game movies. Streamline the dialogue and you have the greatest spy story and emotional drama of all time in my book (better than any James Bond I've ever seen and it's not even live action yet).
Uncharted could go just like the games and use many of their set-pieces
Heavy Rain is a great serial murder drama and has a great twist at the end. Could be very similar to the Usual Suspects.
The director of Identity Thief, seriously? They couldn't hire anyone with a bit more talent? They should get Phil Lord and Chris Miller to do it!!

Ratchet and Clank movie and reimagining of the first game are coming in the first half of 2015. I don't know about SotC I mean would there be any dialogue? It would have to be short if it did come it just doesn't have a deep story for a movie. The game achieves great atmosphere though very gamey techniques which involve hours and hours to get that feeling of loneliness. You can't do that in a movie.
