Who the hell can even say no?

Sega always was something super stylish and futuristic.

Dreamcast is regarded by all true gamers as one of the best consoles of its time (it was).

But because the market was rapidly changing, and worldwide casuals barely starting to buy consoles, it didn't succeed.

I think they're the only one who could clear the mind of Nintendo and make the ultimate wet dream of all true gamers that never happened: a Sega-Nintendo console.

I fail to see how Dreamcast is the best console of all time, sure it introduced online gaming which the industry would be totally different without, but really no Dreamcast games appeal to me. For a game console to be the best console of all time, it has to appeal to everyone, good example is PS2 and DS

It introduced a lot more than that...The VMU was an awesome idea as well as the ability to talk to Seaman....I loved that game. The Dreamcast did what the WiiU does with a personal screen for at home multiplayer (Madden at least)...also so many great games. Shenmue, Seaman, Crazy Taxi, Virtual Cop, Grandia 2 and wasn't there a top notch fighting game(KI or Soul Caliber?) just to name a few. Also they said best console of it's time. I am kinda happy they don't exist in the same capacity because I was a total Sega fanboi and wouldn't have ended up enjoying Nintendo's as much as I have...never would have given them the chance.

SEGA should have gone into business with MS. With MS´s marketing abilities and SEGA´s vision, they would have been unstoppable together.

They did. Dreamcast used WinCE.

Dreamcast failed because it was pirate heaven.

Pirating was an issue but it wasn't the one thing that killed Dreamcast. Sega Saturn and pretty much everything Sega did between Genesis and Dreamcast is what killed Dreamcast. That system had no chance. Sega was broke by that point. Had Sega been an American company, they would have pulled out of the hardware business after the Saturn, but being a Japanese company based on hornor, they felt that if they were to leave the console business, they would go out honorably by doing everytihng right with the Dreamcast that they did wrong with the Saturn. Even when developing Dreamcast, the executives at Sega knew that system would most likely be their last, even if it were a success.

Also consider that DVD's were a big selling point for the PS2 in the beginning. Had the Dreamcast used DVD's, Sega could haved owned the market and many often question why they didn't. The answer is because they simply couldn't afford it. DVD technology was expensive in the late 90's. Had they gotten everything right before with the Saturn and not bankrupt themselves with the Saturn, the Dreamcast would have ad DVD playback.

To answer the what if question, yes, the industry would be in much better shape had Sega still been in the console business.

Sega never won against Nintendo and it would probably be the same today

I said "one of the best".

I also said "by true gamers"
