Forums - Gaming - Naughty Dog discuss the 60fps impact

David Cage was all wrong. Polygons aren't emotion. FPS are emotion.
Thanks ND!

Around the Network

I got Tomb Raider for the 360. Then, I got it for the PS4. THEN, I got it for free for the PS3.

Didn't really feel very different. I think there's gonna be some people expecting something magical and they might not get it. They might feel tricked. Some will see "the emperor's new clothes". And yes, some will legitimately appreciate the upgrade.

Cool for those that want it. I really can't tell the difference though.

^this. Many of my favorite games are supposedly 30fps so I just dont get what the big deal is

That they would be even better at 60fps ;)

RIP Dad 25/11/51 - 13/12/13. You will be missed but never forgotten.

Great. Maybe this will shut up all those people saying 30fps is more cinematic.

Letterboxes too.

Sure 60 fps feels more fluid. But come on, that has nothing to do with emotions. 24fps has never been a barrier to convey emotions, nor do 60hz tv shows have superior emotions next to movies. Bullshit.

Good marketing speak to get people to double dip anyway.
