90% of ps3/360 games have an RRP of £49.99, but most shops sell them at £39.99 anyway. this one is no different.

Could someone PLEASE tell me how much this is in dollars! I don't do pounds

Playing:

1)Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Rings of Fate (DS)

2)Neverwinter Nights: Hoards Of The Underdark

3)I don't know

I think by now it's like 700 US dollars. Stupid dollar...

You're missing out, man! Check out this video to understand the basic premise of the game, and check out this video to see some really cool things that can be made in the game. The "Flipper Tower" at around the 5:50 mark is especially cool, imo.

I watched those videos. Very interesting. I hope this game does well because I like seeing this kind of creativity.

It's not exactly my type of game, something that I might pick up and do every now and then, and I'd probably create levels more often than actually play.

That's the whole point! :P

This game will be $59.9 in the US, just like all other ps3/360 games. :)

The fact that it's going to have a full story mode is great news.

I think LBP will sell surprisingly well on the PS3. The interest is huge amongst the online communities.

This should be a giant, red, flashing, whirring, whining alarm.

Why do you think so?

ever heard of zak and wiki?

Anywho - this should be a great game, it is currently the first of three games i'll need to want in order to consider getting a ps3 (i don't think it's worth it to pay that much for one or two games)

Interest in Zack & Wiki didn't even approach LBP. Not by an order of magnitude. Everyone knew Z&W would be a niche title, which was why there were campaigns like "Get more people to buy Zack & Wiki!"

And I don't think anyone is literally arguing that excitement among online communities means failure for a game. Halo 3 was hyped pretty hard online too...

I think LBP will be a huge word of mouth game.

I know I will be trying to convince my friends to get it once I have it to show them.
All PS3 foot soldiers must do the same. It is our duty!!!

Yes, to the glory that is empire of sony. I'll spread the word of this art to the common people, and they will obey because it is sony will, or just tell my friends you can create tank with penis as a cannon.

Well Sony will have to drop the PS3 to$200 and then come out with some other interesting games so that I can justify the purchase.

Edit: But you're right. I use to build houses in The Sims more than I would play the game (cheats FTW).

Oh man, the penis-tanks I'll create!
