Sensationalist title, nothing to see here and not major news. Dualshockers is a garbage website filled with articles for sony fans to circlejerk to. Im sure Sony is hiring somewhere as well.



Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

Maybe, just maybe cuz bigger install base is usually good for your console? As in better 1st/3rd party support? 

Just a thought.

Uh, planning pipeline projects is SOP guys. Real news would be if they were NOT doing this. What's more interesting to me is the new hire process. Typically that means significant shakeups in the key personnel attached to such projects.

We may never see such things publicly, but I can guarantee that there exist dozens of unseen rough prototype PS and XB consoles from the past up to present day. Work never stops.

What is probable with any possible ps5/xb1+ is sourcing better APU from AMD, and better memory (esp from Microsoft end). Odds are VERY good that future consoles will be fully BC (x86+gcn).
