Wii will have DLC for free and for purchase. We don't know if GH4 and Rock Band will have it be the possibility on GH4 was mentioned on yesterday's Wiik podcast and Rock Band is rumored to have it.

So, I would wait to buy a PS3 or 360 until we know more about Rock Band on Wii. Even if you do want to get a 360 right away to play it, don't! Wait for the coming 360 price cut :)

Are you suggesting that some of the songs avaliable for download will be free on the Wii, where the same songs on PSN and Xbox Live cost money?

Arc - which is stupid logic. Why would one version get free content, whereas others did not, expecially when it *can* hold DLC, just not that great?

The PS2 version of Rock Band was vastly gimped, and recieved neither DLC or extra content. Why would the Wii version be any different from either the PS2 way (no DLC, no online, vastly gimped) or the X360/PS3 version (not gimped, pay-for DLC)



Back from the dead, I'm afraid.
