I used to be optimistic about FFXV releasing in 2015 but now I doubt that'll happen after the game didn't show up at this E3 and if a 2015 release happens, it'll probably be late 2015.

Counter prediction, we'll hear about again / get a release date / window for both this year. One will make 2015, the other will slip to 2016 and that will be FFXV. There's no way Sony are gonna mention TLG again until it's almost ready to go and depending on if they started over and how long ago that was, that has gotta be soon.
