I've always felt this way but never been able to express it so eloquently:

well bottom line I never paid attention to the guy enough to know that he had an ego that big... I did play his game and was unmoved by it... and to me after watching that video it looks like to me he is a nobody with a huge ego some nice skills and a big mouth... in other words nothing to tweet about.... hundreds of people in the indie scene have way more talent and don't have so many complexes... sucks for him but he didn't really help himself... one thing the video forgets is Darwinism is a bitch and nobody escapes the rule... adapt or die....

A very enlightening video, actually. All I really knew, or cared to know, was that FEZ was amazing, and that Mr. Fish came across as a bit of a dick every time I read about him. Oh, and that he "quit like the little bitch everyone always knew he was."

I disagree with the first of those closing statements, though. In my experience, racism, homophobia, and even sexism aren't nearly so rampant and accepted on the internet for that to be the case. Actually, I'd dare to venture that, were he not a middle class white male, you'd have actually seen more people standing up for the guy.

OP: I really like these kind of videos! It was definitely better than I thought it would be.

Well, to be fair, he left the industry. So, I guess he did not bought into his own hype for that long, rumor has it that he have 5-10 millions from FEZ, so I guess he will never have to work again.

FEZ is not bad, but not a masterpiece by any means, in other hand, I think Jonathan Blow deserves all the type he have, BRAID is just amazing.

I thought it made a change from all the usual console news we get here. You'll probably like Indie Game The Movie too.
