Halo worked just fine at 30fps. Never really heard people say bad things about the fps in Halo.

No they dont complain but that doesn't mean they aren't excited about 60fps. They couldn't complain about it because 30fps was the standard in 6th and 7th gen. A first person shooter in the 8th gen should not be 30 just because of 7th gen standards. Its why we went to 8th gen in the first place. To have better performance and visuals than PS3, 360 and Wii games. Not to be lumped in the same boat with 8 year old hardware.

Just because its 30fps doesn't mean the visuals aren't improved. I'm sure the game will look better on 8th gen hardware even though the fps is the same. If the fps of the game is the "dealbreaker" on whether or not you will buy this game then you weren't even going to buy it in the first place.
After E3, I lost the hype for this game, completely. It will sell well, but it will not a phenomenon like other big hits of the past.
