Forums - Gaming - How have we not put driveclub and forza horizon head to head yet?!?

Winner?

forza 24 30.38%

chicken dinner 18 22.78%

Graphics: Driveclub? I have no idea, doesn't it have the advantage here?
Scores: Forza is a proven franchise to do well, even Gran Turismo hasn't been on par with it (and latest forza and GT were on par), that is of course Turn 10, but I just don't see Driveclub doing better than GT and Forza.
Sales: Toss up, both will be poor. Forza is cross gen, and is the sideline game, and Driveclub is being given away for free on PS Plus? I would edge it to Forza Horizon's tho.
Gameplay: No idea.

Driveclub has better graphics (though it's not a huge difference imo), which isn't too surprising since it's not open world and since PS4 has a small power advantage over Xbox One.

Forza Horizon 2's gameplay looks more fun to me personally though since I love open world racing.

there was a small power difference in ps3/360,its a bit larger now.you notice the difference in graphics in the very 1st second, from car model detail to the scenery at times looking photo realistic in dc's advantage. I got no doubt the makers of motorstorm will make a very fun driving game. horizon 2 isn't an eye-sore and im sure it'l be fun but the graphic difference really jumps out imo

Driveclub. With 55 tracks it probably has a lot more variation in scenery than a single map. Open world is nice but it never takes long before you have seen all of it.

I'll get both eventually anyway, FH1 was good fun. I do hope there will be a 'real' setting that puts a penalty or damage on crashing through fences and vine yards. Cutting corners in a sports car breaks immersion, leave that for rally challenges.
