Forums - Gaming - Battlefield Hardline beta not 900 and has significant frame rate drops.

oh COMMON when as EA ever released anything the way they said they will. Then again there is no such thing as lazy devs.

Such a turn off after playing the beta. I'm going to receive another beta through my email today or tomorrow and I hope they just keep it lol.

I still don't understand why people expect these consoles to perform miracles. The hardware isn't even amazing.

There was an expectation because Adam Boyes marched out and stressed 1080/60 fps for BF at E3.

I guarantee he was just repeating what the briefing given by EA specified (SOP for showings of 3rd party games where they didn't dev the game or really have jack squat to do with development). Considering they told everyone it was 1080p on PS4 and XB1.

This is an EA fail, not a Sony or MS fail (other than giving this pile of crap stage time, lol).

Btw, I've played BF since the first game over a decade ago, and BF:HL is the biggest pile of crap I've ever seen in the FPS genre. It is astonishingly terrible. It's so bad it might kill the BF franchise entirely. It's like an incoherent and incompetent mod on BF4 that somehow manages to utterly butcher the graphics, performance, movement, everything.

I just played the beta some and thought it looked like a downgrade in every way. graphics, gameplay, etc, etc. Looked like a mod, more then a game.

The game looks AND runs worse than BF4
not sure what's up with that, "it's beta" isn't much of an excuse considering i doubt a few months will actually bump this to 1080p 60fps
It's just another EA rush job, they failed to make MOH a successful release between BFs, this is their new milking attempt
The final version will probably get a resolution bump but i doubt the framerate issues will be dealt it

Why is this game even coming out? Visceral could have used their resources on a much better game instead of this rushed crap.

Theres been PS4 games which launched at 900p and then got 1080p patches.

Looking at how this game looks, I would be very surprised if they cant get it to run at 1080p on the PS4.

How did they pump this turd out so quickly after BF4? What happened to quality control at DICE?

Not dice doing this.

how funny is it that Destiny's "alpha" is in a better state than Hardline's "beta"?
