of course. If it's going to release in 2015, it's going to be announced at TGS the year prior. That's all we're talking about. Announcements.

I guess it just really doesn't feel like long since Ishin was being shown off at TGS and now we're already advancing towards 6 being announced.

Still, not that I'm complaining.  Not that we're ever going to see it in the west, but I enjoy Yakuza (as seen by my currently playing!)

TGS is my fav, Japanese games have just so much more character than half the crap western studios dish out.

10000% agree games like disgaea, valkyria chronicles or the tales games might not be technically impresive but they have more character and personality and therefore more appeal (at least to me) than 80% of the western games that i see out there.

This game ! I'd love if japan studio moved more into this direction, not pretending to be able to do AAA, just some great art and style, story driven game.

It's exactly the problem I think TLG has. Very big production, team, impressive graphics, and the best feather in the world... in the limited PS3 hardware. They had an excellent art and style, that's just good enough to make an excellent B game.

Even if they show it at TGS that is gonna be way too late for it to be a 2014 title :/

Sony really need to prove themselves to the Japanese market at TGS.

Man im currently playing Valkyria Chronicles and OH MY GOD (its GREAT) i knew it was a great game before but for some reasons i didnt bought it until now, and i must say its rapidly going into my FAVORITE PS3 exclusives!. i think that by the time i finish playing all of the PS3 exclusives that interest me, my top 4 games for the sistem will be the following

- Demons Souls

- Uncharted 2

- Valkyria Chronicles (currently playing it and its surpassing my expectations... and i already expected a lot because i knew it was a great game)

- The Last of Us (havent palyed it yet because i decided to wait for the GOTY version but if its as good as people say then i have no doubts it will get in the TOP 4)

i think games like Demons Souls and Valkirya Chronicles  PROVE that you dont need millions of dollars to creat GREAT GAMES.

They just need to cancel the last guardian and do something else that actually looks fun... And isnt such a huge money pit...

Pleased to hear that ! That's an excellent game, one of my favorite all time. The story, sounds, characters, art style, gameplay, I loved about everything.

I really loved the last of us, that's a great game, an excellent studio... but they have an excellent engine, the best techs, internal support, money, even actors,  professional musicians, scenarists, ads, etc. I was waiting for it for a year, and it got lots of rewards.

I bought Valkyria by accident in Japan, it was just there, already in the bargain place... "oh I heard about it, it's not even released in my country and it's cheap". When I start playing it, it was like if I found a gem in the ground. It's even unbelievable Sega could still make such a great game. I think there is lot of potential for such games, between AAA fps and independent games.

if only we could have gotten all of the sequels released on the west... and if only they would have targeted console instead of handheld (im not fond of handhelds for me nothing beats gaming on your big HDTV), but still im pleased to know there are some sequels out there to play later.

Also Sony fails (in my opinion) by not marketing their japanese games as much as they can on the west, i understand that they are not as popular as Uncharted and other western games, but there is still a big fanbase for this type of games on the west, just take for example Bloodborne the "spiritual succesor" to Demons Souls it barely got a CG trailer on E3 and that was it, they didnt even talk about the game on stage or anything, and yet you get on the internet and see sites like Neogaf and this very own site exploding with info and people HYPED everywhere for this game...
