it's activision... it's gonna suck but it won't flop....

I hope it won't suck though but as time goes my doubt grows :D :P

no its bungie.

publisher is activision they decide when it's ready just like EA....

unless bungie has made sure in there contract they keep control of course... but like with EA taking over publishing of good studios I'm always doubtfull about there true intention.... usually milking the brand equity of the studio rather than doing a genuinly good game especially on such a scalle with all the potential costs and risks it implies....

the world ia extremely detailed too,  lots of secret areas,  hidden loot and curiousities.

just seems to me that the few that are hating on the game never intended to give it a chance in the first place either out of jealousy or bias to anothee game,  or simply have not played it yet.

I actually equate much of the Destiny hate, to the hate that Fuse and now Sunset Overdrive is getting, an exclusive developer jumping (seemingly) to the other side.  Pisses fans off, or so it would seem :)

I don't really see how that's a comparison because Sunset Overdrive is truly an exclusive. Maybe more like Titanfall. That's a better comparison because PS4 owners still hate on that game.

But still a poor comparison because I'm an Xbox One owner and can't wait until Destiny. It's not like it's exclusive. I get to play the beta and I get to play the game on Sept 9. I'm sure not hating.

Admittedly, Sunset Overdrive was a poor choice, I haven't really followed it, so it was merely an assumption.  Fuse, however, I saw it get pretty consistent hate from numerous Sony fans when Insomniac went multi, with the same lack of reason, for said disdain.  Destiny's much the same, insofar as it's Bungie's first multi-plat title.  Of course, both games don't appeal to everyone, so not all the negativity stems from that.  But, it does seem like there's some.
