I know that Sony's PS TV can stream a game running in a PS4 under one TV over the home network to another TV.

I want to know if this works with the PS3.

My house is set up like this:

It would be an absolute bitch to have to rearrange this and find a new television and recording solution for the main room - so I would like to place PS TV in the 'main room' to stream a game running in the PS3's tray to the TV in the 'game room.'

Mostly I want to finish Kingdom Hearts 1.5 and play Kingdom Hearts 2.5 in the games room.  Monopolising the main room for that long just isn't done!

Game room jr was just born last week and would really benefit from having that device. For $100, it's a no-brainer.

*edit* read the OP.  I'm just proud of my setup and the potential of the new Sony device to be a second PS4.

Definitely getting one for our other room, streaming PS4 to another room will be great, just wish the PS3 could do it instead then i wouldnt need to buy it lol

word of warning to you all, the output of the vitaTV is 720p, so you will be getting 720p on the second tv.
