but i think that is the point, look what game comes with the playstation TV in the $139.00 bundle, making the device with a simple name of 

"Playstation TV" makes it more along the same lines as easy to understand what the product is Like AppleTV or Amazon Fire TV, OR Google TV.

The name was decided because taking a Holistic view of "playstation" is not just looking at it as only one platform at a time now, its more along the lines as an ECO system, that is what has changed for sony in the past few year's. the New CEO and the people running playstation understand that.

Why worry about the PSVita as unto itself as a platform when its now more a part "Of" just the fact its not designed like a PSP was, its designed to be "included" from not excluded from the playstation Network not in just one part but all of it.

That's the point the big point so what happens with the standard Playstation TV takes off, you think Sony is going to stop production on the standard PSVita?

Say if they did, how does that than stop support for the existing PSVita's out there, if the playstation TV is selling like gang busters than the support for the standard PSVita is still there by default because the playstation TV it is still a PSVita both units are even down to the OS,blank memory cards and game card they all use the same eco system.


pstv will not sold well because it dosn't have support



PS4 - over 100 millions let's say 120m
Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m

Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m

preach it brother... i know i've been using it a LOT more than my PS4. given the chance between playing an RPG on the PS4 or the Vita, i'll go for the Vita 10/10 times. the sleep state fundamentally changed the way I play long games. no more waiting to find the save spot or being afraid i won't have time for a long play session. just turn it off and on and you're instantaneously in the exact place where you left off.

we can all take a piss saying that sales are not good, but that's a true shame because the hardware itself and the experiences on it are the best.

I'm literally dying to have PS Now available on it!
