4/10 Was really expecting Sony to destroy MS, very disappointed.

* The Order - has that quintessential Sony presentation to it (amazing) gameplay appears to be bland
* LBP3 - just like The Order: amazing presentation, and I love that artstyle, but I'm not a fan of the gameplay of the series (that doesn't mean I can't like Oddsock)
* Bloodborne - thus far, the best trailer I've seen at this year's E3, but there's still a question mark in terms of gameplay.
* Let It Die - this made me happy, but no gameplay seen.
* Abzu - looks like a game I'd buy, but not a game I'd buy a console for.
* Destiny, Mortal Kombat X, No Man's Sky - all look wonderful, don't need a PS4 to play them.
* 30 mins of rambling - ...that's nice...
* Sony highlights Minecraft & Child of Light for Vita - ....really?
* Sony TV shows - ...you're losing me....
* Uncharted 4 - Another good trailer...no gameplay.
I rate it a 6/10
Does anyone know what happened to "Deep Down". Has it become vaporware like The Last Guardian? I lost faith when I heard it was F2P but still surprised it didn't show at all.
"Dr. Tenma, according to you, lives are equal. That's why I live today. But you must have realised it by now...the only thing people are equal in is death"---Johann Liebert (MONSTER)
"WAR is a racket. It always has been.
It is possibly the oldest, easily the most profitable, surely the most vicious. It is the only one international in scope. It is the only one in which the profits are reckoned in dollars and the losses in lives"---Maj. Gen. Smedley Butler
I was at the theater showing and the crowd was dead silent 99% of the time. People were bored.
But they have some interesting stuff. But there's nothing that made me NEED a PS4 if I wasn't already interested, and most of the really great stuff was multi-platform. I can't get excited about Uncharted 4, as well knew it was coming and we all know it'll be good. As unsurprising as Halo5 stuff. We know it's on the docket.
I'ma Halo nerd, so I'm all about the Halo package of the 4 games plus beta of 5 this year. But either way, to me the big takeaway is there is zero reason to buy both consoles before 2016. Choose your exclusive franchises you like and buy a system ad enjoy it. Both are fine and will do the trick. Then pick up the other one with price drops in two years and enjoy a nice backlog of the handful of big exclusives at cheap prices and be done with it. They both have pros and cons. /shrug
The most exciting stuff to me, aside from my personal love of Halo, is available on both platforms at this point. Seems like the console war is a draw at this point, with PS4 having the edge out of the gate for all the normal reasons (territories, success abroad, perceptions, etc.) but that essentially they're the same thing with minor differences.

I still think that game is troubled. Delay + no chatter on stage = likely not a very good game.

plus fh2 kind of stole its thunder by annoucing 1000 player clubs

8-9
while they didn't show me the games i wanted to see, sony wowed me with the exclusive ingame contents, farcry friend invites, and Bloodborne.

Disappointment.
Uncharted looks great, but that was given anyway.
LBP is meh to me and a CGI trailer does not d the trick.
Other than that there was not much else going on.
PS4 holiday lineup is Driveclub and LBP 3 then...
Imagine not having GamePass on your console...
Sony killed MS this year, they brought the games with a dash of hardware and media goodies! Powers is going to be amazing! Sony had everything this year! Very well done. Glitches aside, and the lull in the middle the meat of the show delivered!
