As you know Sony introduced Phyreengine in GDC which will make the PS3 more user firendly to develope for and port to other platforms easily afterwards( http://www.n4g.com/events_gdc2008/News-113934.aspx  ).

Do you think we will see more and more multi plat games in 09 due to this engine?

I personally think it's a very good news for gaming industry since the other platforms can enjoy higher quality games with this engine aswell.

Eh, you make the game first on the PC, the engine just makes it much easier to port it to the PS3(or at least that's my understanding of what they are releasing to the public).

Weather or not it's a boon to the industry remains to be seen. DiRT supposedly uses it, so it's possible to wring some pretty good visuals out of it, but how easy is it to actually use?
