Earth Seeker happened. It was Monster Hunter with Ewoks and chunky legs.
Best get lernin' them moonrunes, because the promised translation patch was a cocktease.

wait was that a thing? I did know the game was released on Japan, but lost hope of any translation as it sold very poorly... Such a shame the patch did not see the light...
