I hope for a bigger HD. That's literally the only reason I'm waiting.

Why wait? You can install a 2TB hard drive in your PS4 in less than 2 minutes.

yes you can but that costs extra money. We shouldn't have to pay extra just because they decided on mandatroy installs and made 500gb of space useless.

It's not really paying extra, it's upgrading your hard drive by choice. You can get a 2TB for $110 and just pop it in and load your games on and probably be set for the entire PS4 life.

it is extra because you have to install the full game to the drive hence more space is required then you would ever need if you were nt forced to install the games. Install sizes will only get bigger as time goes by. 2TB wll only be good for maybe 80-120 PS4 retail games depending on what the games are and what DLC you also get.

Sure i could uninstall some games but like we all know what modern gaming is like. Short life span on their servers before they shut down services. What if I want to replay a game and can no longer get updates and the game is too buggy to play???

Around the Network

You guys are complaining so much about this HDD. Is it still true that in XO you can't even change the stock 500 GB HDD?

Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!

My Vita to-buy list: The Walking Dead, Persona 4 Golden, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, TearAway, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, History: Legends of War, FIFA 13, Final Fantasy HD X, X-2, Worms Revolution Extreme, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - too many no-gaemz :/

My consoles: PS2 Slim, PS3 Slim 320 GB, PSV 32 GB, Wii, DSi.

What does that have to do with anything? Lol no you cant replace your HDD but you can have up to 16TB of ADDITIONAL space

OT: I don't believe they're making any huge changes right now.

Just wanted to be sure. People are complaining about PS4 HDD here even though it's by far the best solution on the market (as it usually is with Sony). Wii U and XO don't come close, so I don't get the complains.

The HDD will surely grow over time. I think it's 50:50 about Sony releasing a 1TB version at E3. Depends if they want to cash in a bit more on the now profitable PS4 or if they want to get yet another advantage on the Kinect-less XO. We'll see where Sony is at at this moment, do they want to keep pushing MS or do they want to get more financial relief.
