Forums - General - Tooth filling just came out...

I had my first filling about two weeks ago. It just flew out of my mouth for no reason.

I had it via the NHS, and I know now that I will never go back to them. She did it in ten minutes which is not nearly enough time to do a good job, and it never felt right. Already called a private dentist and signed up with them, but they can't look at it for another week.

I'm kinda concerned about the root being exposed for that long. Anyone been in this situation before?

Around the Network

Believe me, a root exposed for a week is nothing. The only thing it can do is hurt a lot. But if you don't start eating dirt from the street it's fine.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

I've been going to a dentist almost weekly since the end of February .

No, whatever she did, 10 minutes is not enough.

Please excuse my bad English.

Sounds painful. There aren't any other dentists near you?
