Keep it classy Algeria, I'll enjoy the massacre on monday

The Russians weren't any better either. Scoring while the other team played one man down, because a player had to have his head bandaged after a foul by a Russian. Football is probably the only sport in the world, where you can get an advantage violating the rules. This should be changed, they shouldn't play until such a player can't join the team.

I'm pretty sure that was from a collusion with another Algerian player...

I thought it was with a Russian. Still, happy day ;)

Yeah, I don't see Argentina losing before it, you guys will end up losing to Netherlands in the semi, but I will cheer for you guys, so you can make to the final to lose to you-know-who

This is Argentina's world cup. Mark my words, we are going to win this time. Lio Messi is finally playing like he should.

Sorry but your defense can't stand to Netherlands, not to say to Germany or Brazil... you have Messi, but all this 3 have top class players as well, and better defenses.
Neymar will party in your defense if we cross ways
But you have a pretty solid attack that may get you the cup indeed.

Yeah our defense is laughable... But I feel this time is the one. Although to be honest, I am hoping the Netherlands gets eliminated out of the cup so we don't face them... It's highly unlikely though, they are playing quite well.

Welp, time to root for USA I guess.

Naymar can do it on his own. The boy is rollin'. As long as they can keep these shorties away from their own goal, they can power through Chile. I also hope that Hulk will finally show up. The guy is playing so bad in this tournament. The sad thing is that Brazil has no striker. Fred is a joke, I hope someone else rises to the occasion. The player that was a sub in the group phase (can't remember his name, something~nho ) was pretty good.

Still, I think Neymar can push Brazil through Chile, but he won't push Brazil all the way to victory in the Cup if the other guys don't start playing.

Fernandinho is the name.
Also, Fred is a joke indeed, he only do goals in the middle of a mess or if they are really easy, Luis Fabiano should be the striker, but now I have to accept it and cheer to Fred do a miracle. Bernard would be a better option to replace him, he is very quick and creative, if Oscar and him can get along, Neymar would be way better served to do the goals and don't need to do everything else, he is playing alone, and winning.

Right! Fernandinho is good, so is Bernard. If I was the coach, I'd bench Fred and try to build the offence around Neymar, Oscar and these guys. I think I'd bench Paulinho as well (though he played for my team in Poland ) and tried to make this work.

I think Rgentina and Germany have a very easy way ahead of them.

^ Bento is not that bad. We have played way better games with him in charge. Everything just went wrong.

I`m just sad for Beto. Injured and he still didn`t want to leave. Every player should have had his spirit!

The player's choosing for this WC was drastically bad, short-sighted and clearly catered to serve his "buddies" and the usual suspects.

Where's Antunes, one of the best portuguese left defenders of the last season?
Why put Patricio on the goal at the start when he hasn't played on his club for two months and Beto had an amazing season and ended up strong, while both Beto and Eduardo played good games in the pre-WC games?
Why the fuck did he called Andre Almeida, who's only a substitute player in the B team of Benfica?
Who in the right state of mind puts Bruno Alves in the starting lineup when he's been playing each game, since even during the qualifying stage, as shit, when you have Luis Neto who has been on an amazing form?
The fuck is Miguel Veloso doing on the national team?

These are some of the most blatant errors he did in this WC and in the games leading up to it.

He thought that those who were already experienced in playing these kind of games and know his style of playing would offer him the best team.
It`s the team that lead Portugal to the world cup, isn`t it?

True, and how much did we stumble to get in the WC in the first place? If it wasn't for a CR7 at 100% and particularly inspired on the away game vs Sweden, we wouldn't have made it through the play-offs.

We lost against Russia, drew both games against Israel, drew one game against Northern Ireland at home and we barely made the win against Luxembourg in the away game. The signs of match quality deterioration were there and Bento kept being stubborn not only with the same players, but with his same ideals. If he wants to be stalwart about what he believes it's the best for Portugal, then he too must suffer the consequences for when those ideals and plans fail miserably.

The Suarez 4 month ban is worse than his alleged crime. Suarez is a human being and he made a mistake. His teeth accidentally fell into the player. Italy and England got their ultimate revenge with the harsh ban of Suarez. 3 or 4 match ban would have been fair enough. A 4 month ban is a disgrace. This is the ultimate revenge by England and Italy, both still crying in their teas and coffees over their losses to Uruguay.

This is the third time it has happened, it wasn't an accident...he got what he deserved.

His lawyer said it was an accident. Suarez teeth collided with the player.I wouldn't blame him. I blame his teeth which are humongous and prone to accidents. Suarez is just a misunderstood human being.
