Isn't it like, the third time Suarez bites another player? Aren't there laws or rules that FIFA could enforce for a player to be permanently banned for situations like that?

I have nothing against Suarez, but this is not the image that football players should show.

Oh dear I think we can confirm Suarez is clinically insane, 3rd biting incident, the man has fantastic talent but has serious faults. He could face a huge ban and has let his Country down by doing that madness.

Suarez should receive a 5-10 match ban from Uruguay for that biting. I just do not get it either, why do it?

That seems a bit generous to me. He did it before and got a 10 match ban for the second instance. Doing it a third time in the biggest event in the world where everyone's watching and, well, let's say I won't be surprised if he doesn't play at all next season.

Well, the big thing to me is he should not play the rest of this tournament.  Beyond that the number of games is open to interpretation.  If you suspend him for 15 or 20 I am not sure if would be getting to Copa America or 2018 Qualifying or not.  I think FIFA needs to at the ery least make some sort of statement about this kind of behavior which is habitual now from Suarez.

He could actually get a season long ban at this point, 3rd time he's done such a severe offence most players learn their lesson the first time but he's done it 3 times now with the latest incident in a WC. He must lack some serious self control and have a bizarre mentality as most people tend to just throw punches and kicks when angered, Liverpool must be face/palming hard right now thinking "Not Again" as he's not only let them down but Uruguay as well. The sad thing is I thought he'd learned his lesson in the same way Cantona did after his ban, coming back and driving his team but Suarez has gone and jumped into a deeper hole.

Costa Rica 1:0 England
Italy 1:1 Uruguay (though I love both these teams and am sad that only one will advance. It's a flip of a coin for me.

posting predictions ~20minutes before the start of the games is a bit late

He deserves some leeway after he was insulted by a moderator.

(Yes, Barozi. I know of your little secret.)

What does posting prediction 20 mins before a game change? You still don't know how the game is gonna go :P

Who insulted me? Damn, I missed it :( That's what you get when working a whole day to return to 300+ unread posts :(

Next 2 games:

I want Greece to win, but don't see it :( Colombia is gonna dominate. One of my favourite teams, I'm rooting for them, but feel so sad for Falcao :(

So, some of you make fun using names of countries in your languages, so here it goes :P

Grecja 0:2 Wybrzeże Kości Słoniowej
Japonia 0:3 Kolumbia

welp, there are rules stated in that original post of this thread, but I guess rules aren't all that important to a lawyer

Now that would be a massive statement for him to lose out on club and country for a year. I will be very curious what FIFA decide.

2 year maximum ban for Suarez. 3rd incident, come on. Any thing less would be a farce.

So a five minute ban would be fine then?

Ha :p Well I meant that I think 2 years is the maximum ban available for this sort of incident. But I do hope that he gets it. Nothing against Suarez, but 3rd time. He should be done

Yeah, if he is banned he won't play for Uruguay, but Liverpool should be fine.
