I think the only thing that makes it like gears is the fact you play one character surrunded by a team of other comrades. The guns are not the same, the style and setting are not the same. I guess if this game looks like gears than all team based tps games look like gears. 

mmm so the cover system isn't like Gears?

TPS tend to all have cover systems like that. Read my previous posts last sentance.

yea not much of a fan of that either. 

As good as the graphics are, this game has just disappointed the hell out of me. Is it really only going to be ND that gets this right for the ENTIRE generation?

As good as the graphics are, this game has just disappointed the hell out of me. Is it really only going to be ND that gets this right for the ENTIRE generation?

if I may ask, in what way this game dissappointed you?

Sure they all have something similar but it looks exactly how it is in Gears. I'm just not a fan of that, that is all. I'm just talking about gameplay, of course the game as a whole is different.

we cant really judge story and presentation from a 2 minute gameplay vid. however i dont think anyone will be able to match naughty dog quality

The dialogue is frigin' terrible man, it's aweful. You don't hire actors, who clearly throw themselves seriously into the drama, capture their performances perfectly and then stitch them up with Mickey Mouse lines. We know they're sitting ducks, we can SEE. We know they've only got a few feet to go, we can SEE. It's pathetic.

We can judge the dialogue on what we heard, and it was BAD

This looks incredibly underwhelming.

Seriously not impressed at all.
