I'll certainly welcome the change, the shooting elements with the previous 3 entries became the backbone of the series when exploration should have. Uncharted should be fine even with the departures at Naughty Dog- you can really sense though that some want to find new projects to work on but I still believe that this will be a miraculous send off for the series. 

Why is the series going to be dark? This probably references to a dark past for Nathan Drake, he obviously abandoned his true self to seek a pre-constructed future as a 'descendant of Francis Drake'. It's clear why Nathan Drake is able to kill so many people, he seeks retribution from the tribulations of his past.

A good direction, fans tend to like grittier stories.

I'm glad. Saturation is a bitch , taking a fresh approach always helps.

But since they are going darker, I just hope they stay away from the zombie/infected humans thing; I'd rather have those in TLOU.

Uncharted: Soul Searching

Uncharted 3 was already noticeably darker than U2. I'm expecting them to push it a little further. The climax should have the same mood as the spaniards part on the first game. I fucking love that sequence. It doesn't become a survival horror, but it's tense as shit.

great to here we'll see ow it translates in the game if theres anything that i wanted more from it that would be it

Very good, now introduce a new protagonist who kills the entire old cast within the first 5 mins of the game, that'd be glorious.

Well I"ll buy a PS4 when this game drops unless its fall 2015 then I'll wait because of Halo 5. Regardless I hope it isn't "darker" because Uncharted is my light hearted adventure game to go to. I"ll play the Last of Us if I want something darker.
