I honestly don't have a problem with this embargo. I have preordered the game from the PSN store, am waiting for the weekend to preload it, and then start playing it on Tuesday.
It is because I play the games I like to play, this is one of them, and nothing I have seen this far from numerous previews is pointing toward me not liking it. I couldn't care less if the game scored 65 or 95, my enjoyment of the game will be the same. I surely won't start liking the game more just because Jack or Jill gave it a great score.
I always use an example of Lollipop Chainsaw which scored 67, and which I've enjoyed immensely more than CoD:MW with 94 or Assassin's Creed 3 with 85 on Metacritic.

If your interest in this game hinges on positive reviews, than this is probably not the game you should be pre-ordering. Just get it on day 3 or day 103 if you decide so.

Ubi's lack of faith is disturbing.

In Paris, the game will probably be available by the end of the week. I'll try to pick it up on Friday.
