How much do you think the Xbox One would be selling without Titanfall?

I tried to calculate by subtracting the main-page's Titanfall for Xbox One sales from its Xbox One sales. The equation comes out at 9,000. Obviously that is miles off, even when it was suffering it was in-line with the Wii-U which, even in the fits of a pre-bundle lull, is selling way more than that.

So how can we go about calculating the influence of Titanfall as a system seller? We could look at Xbox sales before its launch but that ignores the idea that console sales rise and fall based on preceding trends of their rising and falling.

Anyone have any idea how we could extrapolate that information?

Around the Network

It would be more like Titanicfall. Aha, kidding.

Trying to extrapolate that data is almost impossible, to be honest, as I suspect many XO owners bought an XO in the months and weeks preceeding Titanfall's release in anticipation of that release. It was possibly their "deciding factor".

On the other hand, how many Titanfall bundles sold because of that great price more than the game it came with? We'll never know.

Still, I think it's safe to say that the XO would be in deep, iceberg filled water right now if someone hadn't made that Titanfall deal.

I'd say if Titanfall wasn't on the Xbox One, there would be 1m Xbox One's sold
