Forums - Gaming - Do you want Sony or Microsoft to do a "digital event" instead of an E3 press conference?

Conference or Digital Event!

Conference 207 53.21%

Digital Event 99 25.45%

Who cares? E3 is E3 83 21.34%

Total:389

No. To gamers it shows that you don't have enough content, and to investors it looks like a white flag.

I think the decision by Nintendo to go digital was a fairly stupid one and I am totally happy that Sony (and MS I guess) are doing a conference.

At the end of the day I have always found Nintendo's conferences to be boring as hell anyways (for the most part).  Microsoft's too, but they have been improving every year...

There will never be a digital even as epic as 2013's Sony conference, so yeah... conference all the way :)

Besides, too many gif opportunities as well

Btw, what I really want Sony n Microsoft to do like Nintendo is those nation wide hands-on events! If they don't, they'll never be able to win another E3 in my book again!

Only to gamers who don't know any better I guess. No shortage of that, lol.

nope, i meant it... the reactions of the crowd when Jack throws the final blow that destroys Microsoft's DRM policies was nothing short of epic. the massive launch success of the PS4 is in big part boosted by the hype train that succeeded last year's E3 conference.

I believe it's disingenuous to think a 'Nintendo direct' type of event would manage to get the same result.

but hey, that's just my opinion

Right on, I'd have to disagree. To each their own though.
