Forums - Gaming - Would you be interested in a Pokemon only version of SSMB

I don't care about Nintendo, I've never been a fan of Pokemon RPG even when I was younger, but I think a Super Smash Bros gameslike with only pokemon characters could move montain on Wii U. I remember the only reason I bought SSMB on N64 when I was 7 was because Pikachu was inside and I was into the animated show. Don't know for you guys, tell me, but personally I'll be that hyped by the idea. Think it would make tons of money too.

So, whadya think ?

Pokemon Stadium U ?

Just because you have an opinion doesn't mean you are necessarily right.

SSMB? Super Smash Mothers Brawl?

Well I dunno with the exact same rules and items and all? No

With elemets like fire water and stuff like weight affecting agility etc? maybe.

Much more so than the mish-mash of characters in SSB. I don't like games without creative cohesion, where characters from different worlds are thrown together without regard to continuity or common sense.

It's the reason this image alone has so much hype behind it.

I would definitely try it out, but part of the fun of Smash Bros. is the ability for fans to play as their favorite Nintendo mascots. Smash Bros. is like a Nintendo greatest hits album; players can experience 30 years of history in one place. Plus it allows for a much more diverse roster, a greater number of stages, and a better, more varied soundtrack.

No, but I'd be interested in a Wii U only Pokemon (a real one).

I am the Playstation Avenger.

HHNNNGGGG, POKKEN HYPE!!!

Seriously if this ends up being a real thing =D

Yes, but only if they do it right. I'd detail my vision, but its too long for a forum post. Basically I'd like to see 6 vs 6 w/ custom move sets and held items that can be knocked down and would have to be picked back up to be useful.

Maybe. But I don't think they would include each and every Pokémon. Also I think the soundtrack would be boring, and not much variation.

Yep.
