Forums - PC Discussion - PC Gaming on Intel Atom Tablets (BayTrail)

I've been traveling a lot lately and decided to take a few games with me on my next trip. The challenge is that I am only carrying my Dell Venue 8 Pro tablet and Xbox 360 controller with me.

So I am looking for great PC games (old or new) that you can play on BayTrail Atom SOC's. Let's hear some classics that work with X360 controller and low end hardware.

Games tested so farand working:

Halo:CE - works great (1280x800 and max details)

Resident Evil 4 (2006 release) - Works great

South Park: Stick of Truth - Works great

Not working:

Portal 2 - sub 30 fps at 720p and low details

Sonic Generations - For the love of god Sega, optimize your PC games.

Few pics of this setup in action:

Around the Network

Unreal Tournament and Unreal. (Try all of them maybe? :P)
Quake 3.
Final Fantasy 7 and 8...
Sacrifice, Battlezone...
FarCry 1, Morrowind, with LOTS of tweaking you could even do Oblivion.

Heck the majority of games at gog.com should work on it.

I have a convertible Intel Atom (old Pineview, single core 1.83ghz) Tablet/Netbook and the touchscreen works surprisingly well for some of those old 2D games like Master of Orion 2.

Thanks, great suggestions. Half of the reason why I am doing this is out of my curiosity to see what the little BayTrail Atom can run. FarCry 1 specifically will be a great test for the Baytrail platform. HL2 series would as well...but I've played those to death. :)
