Not a fan of any of the character designs tbh.

To be bluntly honest, most of the character designs are boring, and the premise feels somewhat lacking. It's a step down from Xillia 2 in nearly every regard. Then again, Xillia 2 was absolutely incredible.

The combat improves with every game, though.

Pretty much how I feel about this, except replaced with Xillia 1 since I haven't played 2 yet.  

Do we know if there are 2 Tales of teams?  If I had to guess there's one that made Xillia and the other made Graces f and now this.  Seems like their B team.

There's only one Tales team now. The same team that made Xillia 1 and 2 is working on this one.

Weird, this seems so close to Graces f and Xillia seemed so different from that.

I haven't played Xillia 2, or Symphonia Chronicles, but this looks really good. I do agree that the character designs look iffy, but the gameplay is what's important to me. As long as it's really good, I'll have no issues.

Honestly, I like Slay and the Main girls designs. Its not bothering me. I dont think anyone looks stupid. But the gameplay was a nice touch. :D

They don't look stupid.... it's just.... they're kind of bland, not as bland as a brown/grey colour palette though. Really excited to see more of the combat system :)
