FF7 especially, where it would probably go from "OMG I want a FF7 remake" to "OMG WHAT DID YOU DO TO FF7!!!1!" FF7 was kind of the turning point, where it became the CoD of RPGs and brought in a ton of non-RPG fans because Cloud had a giant sword, the cut-scenes, and the sexual tension between he and Sephiroth.

Legendarily terrible, which is why they should never remake the old games. The new S-E dev team for FF is absolutely terrible. S-E should realize they suck now and sell the IP to Mistwalker.
