If you look at this;

http://www.metacritic.com/browse/games/score/metascore/all/xboxone?sort=desc&view=condensed

You see there is quite a disparity between commercial scores and user scores for most xbox one games. Now Microsoft are an aggressive company that hold a lot of power and influence and have been working super hard on a PR offensive to push the xbox one as both powerful and with well reviewed exclusive games.

However you click over to wii u or other formats and you see the commercial reviews and user reviews are far closer?

Why are commercial reviews so positive towards xbox one games when user reviews for the same games are so low.

It may not be Microsoft pressure, it may be dis-satisfaction with the performance of the console, or perhaps a lack of content on many new xbox one games like Titanfall and Forza. I don't know but the wii u looks much healthier with high commercial reviews often matched with high user review scores. There is something suspicious about xbox one commercial reviews.

I must be missing the link here...  wtf does this have to do with Ubisoft's swag gifts?

At least draw a direct conclusion with Ubi games or something. Instead you just come across as a anti-xbox troll attempt.

I really didn't think it was that hard to work out, Microsoft's marketing budget is far in excess of sony and nintendo. So many sites you go to push xbox one more than anything. Just turn off adblock plus on this site and titanfall gets crammed down your throat.

Clearly the point of this thread is its suspected Ubisoft are trying a charm offensive to get good copy about their game. I'm making the point there is a disparity between xbox one commercial reviews and user reviews more than other formats. I.e. money has influence.

You would expect the average between commercial reviews and user reviews to be fairly similar across formats. If there looks like one format has a wider gulf between the two then you would suspect some other influence, i.e. possibly financial. It so happens the brand with the highest marketing budget also happens to have the widest gulf with regard commercial review scores and user reviews.
