Slightly confused as we've never had the 80GB version out here, only 60GB and 40GB and 60GB sold out about a month ago. I don't think Sonystyle.co.uk would have ever listed a 80GB.

In the US though, apparently the 80GB is being phased out for just one SKU. (i think)

if Sony stop making the 80gb then some people will stop buying the PS3 inducing a decrease in the PS3 sales.
I hope Sony has another high ended model in the pocket ...

Yeah this makes no sense, there has never been an 80GB version in UK... we got the slightly gimped 60GB version (software BC instead of hardware) then that got discontinued for the 40GB

Oh I see, it says US website, just a typo.
