Forums - Microsoft - Xbox One Upload to Youtube coming tomorrow

Game DVR and Upload are among the most used apps on Xbox One. We know how important it is to be able to easily watch and share video clips, and starting tomorrow we’re rolling out an update to the YouTube app on Xbox One that integrates Game DVR and Upload with YouTube**, making it easier than ever to capture and share game clips with the world.

Now, use Game DVR to capture epic gaming moments, edit them in Upload Studio, and, with the simple click of a button inside the YouTube app (look for My Uploads**), share them instantly to your YouTube channel. The updated YouTube experience also allows you to watch YouTube videos in Snap Mode, add individual YouTube videos to your Pins, earn Media Achievements, and add your YouTube channels to OneGuide for instant access to YouTube videos right next to your favorite TV listings or App Channels.

PS4 has Facebook, 15 minutes maximum. XB1 has Skydrive and Youtube (maybe I forgot something), but only 5 minutes, but these may obviously always change in the future. So if you wanna do a lets play on XB1 with Upload Studio, it's close to impossible due to the 5 minutes limit. PS4 is possible, but a capture card is always better obviously.

It doesn't Twitch/Ustream doesn't even auto save live streams yet.

Wow, its only 5 minutes? Thats pretty short! I don't really consider FB that great compared to youtube cause Youtube = Money & Popularity with a lot more people but FB = annoying (imo) but if its only 5 minutes... Then nvm

Lets play people have been using their own capture cards with no problems since X1 release. Anyone using this Youtube feature is most likely trying to show off a montage or an epic moment maybe with some commentary.

Yeah. Personally I just download Facebook vids from my PS4 with a Firefox add-on.

You can archive your twitch streams on X1.

PS4 is going to let you save videos to flash drives with an update soon. Can the XBOne do that?
