Actually, it's a £30 saving on RRP. Vita is £180, PS4 is £350.
The reason you get Vita's for under £150 (though these tend to be OLED not the LCD model that would be bundled with a PS4) is because retailers reduce the price.
Amazon's pre order pricing is rarely the price the item will be sold for and initially a place holder. I expect £499.99 to be the RRP, but it to be possible to get the bundle for less than that. More likely between £450 and £480.
I mean XB1 RRP dropped to £400 and within a week, retailers had knocked it down to £380-390. It's not like the US where MSRP seems to be religiously stuck to unless something is doing badly.
