Resogun is also awesome but the other two games were lacking IMO.

Yeah, Outlast wasn't the best looking game--on par with Condemned from 2005 but dat atmosphere!  Scariest game I've ever played.

Wasn't it already 1080p and 60fps on PS3?

It ran at 60fps the entire time and 1080p some of the time.  It scaled though so that if what was on screen was too much, it'd reduce resolution.  I never noticed the reduction, but then again you're racing at super high speeds.
