Forums - Gaming - Ask VGchartz #4: How Many Sega Game Consoles Have You've Played or Own?

None owned. Played some hockey and sonic at my cousin's house back in the day. I was all about Nintendo back then.

Just a Genesis

3DS FC: 3969 4633 0700

My Pokemon Trading Shop (Hidden Power Breeding)

Played on:

  • Master System
  • Genesis
  • GameGear
  • SEGA 32X
  • SEGA CD
  • Dreamcast

Owned:

  • Genesis for a few hours.

So yeah, I won a Genesis way back when and knew I didn't want it. So I took it to another store and essentially traded it for a SNES.

Owned a loved my Sega Genesis.
Played on friend's Sega CD, but never owned it.
Went to buy a Sega Saturn, but it had just been discontinued.
Agonized for months and chose the PlayStation 2 over the Sega Dreamcast which was discontinued shortly there after.

It is sad in a way that I have such fond nostalgia of Sega and Nintendo, yet while I have owned every Nintendo system (except Virtua Boy) Sega seemed to be just on the edge of me buying them. Just glad I can still enjoy some Sega games to this day.

I have the game gear, The mega drive, the mega CD, the Saturn and the Dreamcast.

I guess my favorite was the Dreamcast.

Never got rid of my sega consoles, so I still own them all.

I own
Genesis
32x
Sega cd
Game gear
Nomad
Saturn

Never got the dreamcast, sega burned my support with the saturn... Still makes me mad that we never got shining force 3 scenario 2 and 3 over here...

Nostalgic topic. SEGA Systems owned and played on:

Sega Genesis
Sega CD (currently own but will sell soon)
Sega 32X
Sega Nomad (currently own but will sell soon)
Sega Saturn (currently own)
Sega Dreamcast (currently own)

Two and two.

The Mega Drive/Genesis and the Dreamcast.

The Dreamcast is awesome. Many amazing games, some of which are among my all-time favorites. It made me not get a PS2, because that seemed like it wouldn't be a useful upgrade. Too bad it ended prematurely.

Used to play Sega Saturn at a friend's house, think we played a Batman sidescroller? Can't really recall. He also had a Dreamcast for a little while, and we had a ton of fun taking turns on Sonic Adventure with that one.
