Forums - Gaming - Disappointment for Titanfall sales?

I never played any since X, so I guess that's close enough to agreeing. :P

I don't think it's really important what may have pushed the PS3 past the 360 if it's only 2% of the total sales, despite the timing. What matters is the 98% of sales.

Also, what jrpgs were so important, can you name a few titles?

All of them as long as they push sales.

Again, the importance of relative thinking can't be under emphasized. This is my demonstration to you of the opposite:

We aren't talking about the market that helps push sales, we're talking about the one that helps push sales the most globally.

Notice the relatively low western sales for the japanese role playing games which sell well in japan.

So.  I was originally referring to handhelds while you cherry picked the US and UK for your justification in reasoning.

Around the Network

No way, 700k is huge sales for a new IP from a new studio and in a stagnated dying genre, it can get to 4-5 million on Xbox One alone.

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

We are not talking about handhelds. You're late to the discussion and didn't even understand what we were talking about.

I knew what you were talking about.  I doesn't matter how successful the Xbox 360 was in the US and UK.  It still lost out to both the Wii and PS3 worldwide in our global market.  Japan is a very important market and games of all types (including rpgs) help push a console.  But you cherry picked the US and UK in a false sense of reasoning from last gen to be applied to this gen when there is no truth to it.

I told you repeatedly that we are talking about PS vs Xbox...

And PlayStation beat Xbox for various of reasons worldwide regardless of the Xbox successes in the US and the UK.

I told you repeatedly that we are talking about PS vs Xbox, and even showed you the top 50 for the PS3 globally, only ONE of which was a jrpg.

You have no argument. Like I posted in my edit:

While you're at it, why not tell us how much your daughter may have enjoyed tamagochi were she born 18 years ago?

Don't say why, I'll tell you: because we don't care.

For what it's worth +1

We don't care what made PS beat XB. What we care about, and what the argument was, what are, globally, the most influencial markets.

NOT WHAT MAKES PS BEAT XB.

Now shoo.

And the supposedly most influencial markets didn't help the Xbox brand outsold its competitions.  So they were as not as influencial as you might have thought.

Looks like a good launch, only people overhyping it and ranting about secret sauces and all that crap will be disappointed.

TGS, Third Grade Shooter: brand new genre invented by Kevin Butler exclusively for Natal WiiToo Kinect. PEW! PEW-PEW-PEW!

Not a disappointment, just expected. it sold well considering it's not a masterpiece, basicly on-line only, and also available for PC.

”Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world.”

Harriet Tubman.

Well, sales look pretty good. It's a new IP but it can easily get into the 4-6M range on XB1 (I believe that the PC and X360 version won't make much more than 3M combined, probably less since the games was advertised as a X1 title).

Now, people that believed that the game would change the console war, cure cancer and sells 10M X1 will be disapointed, but that was because they were delusional. Think this way, GTA IV sold 20M copies but it didn't made PS3 and 360 crush the Wii. What made them crush the Wii was a large library, online mode and price cuts.

So can we ban this site or no?
